About

JODY COOK,  BA / BSW / MSW / RSW / PMH-C

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years experience in the social work field, located centrally in Edmonton near the Brewery District.

I strongly believe that every individual possesses the innate capacity for growth. Together, we will tap into your inner strength, resilience and potential. Using a client-centered and strength based approach, my goal is to offer a comfortable space to work collaboratively with clients in order to support them in achieving the goals they have set for themselves. I believe that the development of a new awareness supports opportunities for positive change and will invite clients to increase their awareness of mind-body connection and nervous system regulation (ex. fight, flight, freeze survival responses). Increased awareness helps individuals develop new patterns that contribute to improved emotional regulation, and improved ability to tolerate and cope with stress/distress more effectively.

I am a registered social worker in both Alberta and Northwest Territories.
I am located in the Edmonton area, and offer in person or online therapy in Edmonton, Alberta and online therapy for individuals and couples in the Northwest Territories.
